Installation of the filesystem FS.CFSINST in Posix under BS2000

If you have received the POSIX filesystem by mail as zipfile,
please proceed the following steps:

 1) Extract the files CFSINST.FS and CFSINST.DO from zipfile
 2) Transfer the files CFSINST.FS and CFSINST.DO with openFT or FTP (in text mode) to BS2000.
 3) Create the filesystem FS.CFSINST with CFS command:FILIMP CFSINST.FS,FS.CFSINST

The installation of CFS / EDT for UNIX should be processed in the following steps:

 1) Add new filesystem for POSIX in BS2000 with procedure CFSINST.DO

    Parameter:

    1. Positional parameter : User-ID, where file FS.CFSINST is located
    2. Keyword parameter MOUNT : Mountpath in POSIX (Std: /cfsinstall)
    3. Keyword parameter POSIXVER : POSIX version (Std: 020)
The version number is used as suffix for the library
       *LIB($TSOS.SINPRC.POSIX-BC.&POSIXVER,POSINST)

       e.g. DO CFSINST.DO,$CFS

 2) Login under SYSROOT or BS2000 command START-SHELL in userid SYSROOT

 3) Change working directory to the installation directory specified
as mountpath in the procedure CFSINST.DO (Std: /cfsinstall):
    cd /cfsinstall

 4) Start the installation script: ./cfsinstall

The program CFS for Posix is started by shell command input: cfs
The program EDT for Posix is started by shell command input: edtx or edtx file

Please note that CFS and EDTX are not runnable in blockmode under a
9750 emulation, i.e. you must open a 97801- or vt220-emulation session
with telnet or rlogin.

In EDTX and CFS also BS2000 files may be processed, e.g.
in EDTX, command READ or in CFS, Actioncode C (Copy) or R (Rename).

The syntax to use BS2000 files is
bs2:file
or
/BS2/file
